Yuuka Hayase (早瀬ユウカ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Millennium Science School and wields a pair of Submachine Guns, and is one of the characters of the 2024 Anime Adaptation of the same name. She is the treasure of Seminar, the student council of Millennium. She manages anything finance related, such as providing clubs with their budget, handling property damage expenses, and more. However, her cold nature in focusing on minimizing expenses gave birth to her nickname "Cruel Arithmetician."
She was one of the supporting protagonists during the Prologue of the main story. She played as the main antagonist for the first chapter of the second volume, "Clockwork Flower Pavane", due to conflicting with the chapter's protagonists although she was doing what's right. However, she played the supporting protagonist role in the second chapter. She also played as a supporting protagonist during the second to fourth chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin". She also played as a supporting character in two side events, "On Your Mark @ Millennium" and "Get Set, Go! Kivotos Halo Games".
Personality
As the treasurer of Seminar, Yuuka is incredible with mathematics. She takes pride in handling calculations of expenses. However, the Millennium students' nature of inventing numerous wacky inventions using the school's budget stresses her out, infuriating her whenever she sees people wasting their money, which gives birth to her name "Cruel Arithmetician." Despite her cold personality, she only intends to look out for people so they don't spend their money uselessly. She focuses more on calculations rather than intuition, and whenever her calculations are correct (which happens almost all the time), she gets smug.

Yuuka's gym outfit which she wore during the "Get Set, Go! Kivotos Halo Games" side event. The event revolves around a biyearly event named the Kivotos Halo Festival where all schools put aside their differences and compete in friendly games, with Yuuka being one of the representatives for Millennium. She was also one of the Executive Committee members of the event.

New Year's Eve is arriving, and Yuuka believes a pajama party is a great idea to welcome to new year. However, a familiar troublemaker is wreaking havoc once again. This is the outfit Yuuka wore during the "Secret Midnight Party" event, where she and her friends wanted to have a New Year's pajama party, only to be interrupted by Koyuki Kurosaki, a Seminar member who's known to cause problems everywhere she goes.
