Saya Yakushi (薬子サヤ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies at Shanhaijing Senior Secondary School and wields a Handgun. She is a member of the Chinese Alchemy Study Club (or Eastern Alchemy Society), a club that, as the name implies, researches on alchemy. She also owns a pet mouse named Nezusuke.
She first appeared during the "Catch in Neverland" side event as the main protagonist, where she accidentally turned someone into a kid, resulting in her having to make an antidote to reverse the effects. She later appeared as a side character in the "Ryubu Doushu" side event. In the main story, she played as a supporting protagonist in the second chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin".
Personality
Saya is a super-intellect at such a young age, achieving six degrees during elementary school! Her intelligence is even capable of surprising herself with what she's able to create. However, often times she uses this power for mischief and causing others trouble. Additionally, she is less skilled in devising plans, often only thinking about the first step and not what comes after.
