Izuna Kuda (久田イズナ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies at Hyakkiyako Alliance Academy and wields a Submachine Gun. She is a member of the Ninjutsu Research Department, a passionate club full of love towards ninja-related content and ninjutsu. Although they're often mocked for their absurdities, these eager fellows, especially Izuna, won't let some strangers' words cause their burning passion to dwindle.
Izuna first appeared during the "Cherry Blossom Festival" side event, originally as an antagonist due to being hired by an evildoer before realizing the situation. She thought that by completing her mission, she'd be one step closer to becoming the best ninja, but she soon realized the truth and decided to become good. She also appeared in other side events, such as the "An Unconcealed Heart" and the "Momoyodou Beach Bar Franchising Plan" side events, both in which she played as one of the supporting protagonists. In the main story, she appeared as a supporting protagonist during the second chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin", and during the first chapter of the fifth volume, "Hyakka Ryōran".
Personality
The newest recruit of the Ninjutsu Research Department who's shown to be incredibly talented in the world of ninjutsu. Izuna presents a bright personality wherever she ventures, always looking forward to ways she can improve herself. She dreams of becoming the best ninja ever, which to others is a peculiar dream, resulting in Izuna being a loner before joining the Ninjutsu Research Department. However, her dream has not and will not be diminished, especially when she's being supported by her friends in the Ninjutsu Research Department and by her "Lord", the Sensei of Schale, the main character of Blue Archive, and the one who supports her dream along with her new friends Michiru and Tsukuyo. Despite her determination, her ways of improving herself can be quite unique.

Trivia
Izuna's name heavily references the pipe fox, written as Kuda-gitsune (管狐) in Japanese. A common variation is called the Izuna (飯綱). Izuna are thought of to be fox servants of certain sorcerers referred to as izuna-tsukai (飯綱使い), or izuna wielders. Izuna provide their wielders with clairvoyance and the ability to inflict illness and the ilk upon the wielder's enemies.
