Enables【Canto (Ally 5)】. Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice. For each foe within 5 spaces of unit, unit can move to any of the nearest spaces that are two spaces away from that foe (unless space is impassable terrain). At start of turn, inflicts Atk/Res-7 and 【Sabotage】on closest foes and any foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. If either unit or foe has an active【Bonus】 or【Penalty】effect, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Res during combat = 20% of unit's Res at start of combat + 6. |

Includes bonuses granted by a skill like Rally or Hone and positive status effects (extra movement or effects like Dominance). 【Penalty】 All effects that last "on foe through its next action." Includes penalties inflicted by a skill like Panic or Threaten and negative status effects (preventing counterattacks, restricting movement, or the effects of a skill like Triangle Adept or Guard). |

Notes
- If an effect that grants "another action" to unit would trigger, (such as with Galeforce) the extra action will be granted before 【Canto (Ally 5)】 triggers (excluding effects that grant "another action" after Canto).
- 【Canto (Ally 5)】 will not trigger after an effect that grants "another action" if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If 【Canto (Ally 5)】 has already been triggered that turn, Canto re-enabling effects can allow 【Canto (Ally 5)】 to trigger again.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (Ally 5)】 to 1 space (or 2 spaces with Salvage) for Range = 1 units and 0 spaces (or 1 space with Salvage) for Range = 2 units.
- 【Canto (Ally 5)】 is counted as Warp movement.
- If an ally has an effect such as Salvage, the unit can also warp to the ally after triggering Canto regardless of distance restrictions.
- 【Canto (Ally 5)】 is unaffected by movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Stall, Gravity, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (Ally 5)】 can be obstructed by warp preventing effects unless the user has a Pass effect.
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Nova's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
- Effects such as Foe Cannot Follow-Up and Hardy Bearing 3 do not affect the extra attack.
- If Nova's user can perform a standard follow-up attack, either by passing the Spd difference check or effects such as Guaranteed Follow-Ups or Quick Riposte 4, the user will be able to attack up to 4 times during combat.
- Nova's extra attack does not affect the additional follow-up granted by Potent Follow effects.
- A foe with effects such as Phys. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize any effect on Nova's user that guarantees follow-up attacks.
- Warping counts as the unit's move for the turn. The unit can still perform an attack, an Assist, or a structure destruction after warping.
- Warping is unaffected by movement preventing effects, Divine Vein effects, Stall, Gravity, Traverse Terrain, and 【Pathfinder】.
- Warping can be obstructed by warp preventing effects unless the warping unit has a Pass effect, or warps using a camp, a fortress, or sigils.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Nova is considered a Penalty.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have Penalties for their first action.
- If the unit also has Grand Strategy, any Penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have Penalties for their first action.
- Nova applies the Sabotage status effect.
- Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have Sabotage for their first action.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Sabotage is considered a temporary debuff.
- The stat decreasing effect of Sabotage will activate if the affected unit or it's allies within 2 spaces receive Penalties.
- The stat decreasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the affected unit or it's allies within 2 spaces receive Bonuses.
- If the affected unit or it's allies within 2 spaces are affected by Panic (and not affected by Null Panic), Sabotage will utilize the total Penalty within each stat during calculation.[1]
- The stat decreasing effect of Sabotage will stack with the temporary buffs from Neutralize Penalties or sources of penalty neutralization.
- The stat decreasing effect will be negated if the affected unit or it's allies within 2 spaces have their Penalties removed by a source of negative status effect neutralization.

- A stat comparison made "At start of combat" ignores temporary buffs and temporary debuffs.
- Temporary buffs and temporary debuffs from skills such as Death Blow and Rauðrfox+ will not affect the outcome.
- Only stat boosts outside of combat, such as Bonuses and Penalties, will affect the outcome.
- The temporary buffs of Nova will activate if the unit or foe receives a status effect.
- The temporary buffs will be negated if the unit or foe does not receive a status effect, or the unit or foe has their status effects removed by a source of status effect neutralization.
