Notes

• "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
  • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.

• The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Breath of Life's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Breath of Life's healing effect will still trigger.
• Breath of Life's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
• Breath of Life's healing effect stacks with skills such as  Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
• Breath of Life's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as  Fatal Smoke 4 or  Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with  Deep Wounds.
  • However, allies unaffected by  Deep Wounds will still receive Breath of Life's healing effect.
• The stat increase that can be applied by Breath of Life 4 is considered a temporary buff.
• Breath of Life 4's healing effect will be reduced by 50% if the user is prevented from recovering HP during combat from effects such as  Fatal Smoke 4,  Incurable+, or  Deep Wounds.
  • The 【Deep Wounds】 reduction effect only applies to HP recovery during combat.
    • The 【Deep Wounds】 reduction effect applies to the  Deep Wounds status effect and the "Foe cannot recover HP during or after combat." effect of skills such as  Fatal Smoke 4 and  Incurable+.
    • The 【Deep Wounds】 reduction effect also works for other HP recovery effects during combat, even for effects from allies such as  Breath of Life 4.
• The temporary buffs, HP recovery, and 【Deep Wounds】 reduction effects of Breath of Life will not apply to the user's allies if the user is inflicted with  Time's Grip, the user's allies are inflicted with  Feud, or the user's allies are in combat against a foe with skills such as  Impenetrable Void and  C Feud 3.
