History
Yo-kai Watch
In the request Hungry Lulu, Lulu is inspirited by Hungramps and can't stop eating.
Yo-kai Watch 2
Lulu is Meg's best friend but acts as her rival in the request "Springdale Star Pt. 1" when the two find themselves competing to be the Springdale Star. Lulu is unknowingly inspirited by Tongus, requiring the player to call on Shmoopie to inspirit Meg. The two make it through the first round, and in the following request "Springdale Star Pt. 2", the player can choose to either assist Lulu or Meg with becoming the Springdale Star. If the player chooses Lulu, they must befriend Nurse Tongus to inspirit Lulu during the show. The Yo-kai ends up backfiring on both girls and neither of the two wins, causing the two to patch up their friendship.
She can also be found at Rolling Waves Park, admiring a dancing woman, and wonders if she should study under Groovalicious.
Yo-kai Watch 3
She and Megan are found inside Sunset Mall, inside Dolphin Café.
Etymology
- "Ai" (愛) means "heart," which goes with her cutesy appearance.
- "Lulu" is a name often used as a nickname for people named Lucy/Lucia/Lucinda/etc. Episode 26 of the anime calls her Lucy, implying that that is her full name, and Lulu is a nickname.
Trivia
- Interestingly, there is a real-life person named Ai Kobayashi; a Japanese voice actress who plays Tsurune Hanamichi in the 2022 anime Delicious Party Pretty Cure.
