Mirapo resembles a mirror with a dark purple frame with skinny arms and diminutive legs. It has a set of circular eyes and an oval mouth with a slim tongue protruding from it. The space reflected by the mirror is black.
Mirapo are somewhat lazy, as they are seen sleeping when first confronted. However, when awake, they are polite and very obedient when asked to be warped to a place.
In the Hapyon's Mysterious Detective Agency series, Mirapo is shown to be a bit meek, never raising his voice at others and having trouble speaking for himself. However, he takes his pride as a mirror very seriously, causing him to snap at Hailey when she suggested glass doors as a replacement for his stolen mirror part.
In the games, Mirapo can be used as a teleportation system all around Springdale, but one must first find a Mirapo in the overworld and "wake" them up first in order to access that area. In the games in which Don Chan appears, Mirapo helps Don Chan kidnap people and then takes them to the festival.
Mirapo can be found in stage 19, 109, 144, 164, 169, 218, 266 secret stage 4-1, 7-2, 10-19, 12-46, 12-49, 15-96, 16-112, 17-5, 20-4, 21-28, 22-60, and hidden stage 2 in Super Terror Time.

Etymology
"Mirapo" is a combination of a corruption of mirror and portal.
"Telespejo" is a Portmanteau of Teletransporte (Teleport) and Espejo (Mirror).
"Portalex" is a combination of "Portal" (portal), "konvex" (convex) and potentially also "leck's" (lick it).
"Traspec" is a combination of "trasporto" (transport) and "specchio" (mirror).
Origin
Mirapo is based on the ungaikyō (Japanese: 雲外鏡, "mirror beyond the clouds"), a tsukumogami (common item youkai) born from a polished bronze mirror. It only comes to life when its owner is asleep, and for that reason it's dangerous to leave it facing the bed.
Trivia
In the Yo-kai Watch video game, one of the Mirapo warps takes the player "back in time to the summer festival" which implied that Mirapo can teleport people back in time. This counts as a consistency error as Miradox, a Yo-kai that takes people to different time periods makes an appearance in Yo-kai Watch 2.
However, in Yo-kai Watch 4, he and his Shadowside counterpart have also been demonstrated this ability, due to being able to allow the player to travel to Nate's, Summer's and Jack's worlds (which take place in the present day, 2040s and 1960s respectively), as well as the Past and Future versions of the Yo-kai World, via use of the Pocket Mirapo, while Miradox is absent from the game altogether.
Mirapo's "random" nicknames in Yo-kai Watch 2 are: Miraport, Maria, Reflecta, and Nowyou.
