Kaitlyn (Japanese: 堀田ちなみ Hotta Chinami) is a character from Yo-kai Watch 3 and the anime series. She goes in the same class as Hailey Anne, which is 5-1.
Appearance
Kaitlyn is a girl around the same age as all her other classmates. She is also a bit shorter than everyone else. Kaitlyn has short puffy hair that curls around her cheeks and has a side bang at the front, that is held in place by a small pink hairclip. She wears a pair of glasses and has a small nose. Her eyebrows curve just over her small eyes.
She wears a grass-green shirt with a collar, and an open yellow vest over it. She also wears a blue skirt and small shoes.
Also, in the Games, she is often seen holding a noteblock and a pen in her hands. Along with these, she has a camera that she wears around her neck with a red strap.
Personality
She likes to scoop new information about people. She is also a fan of Mr Yarn's novel, in reality Ryan.

Yokai Watch 3
She is the client of the request "The Melancholy of Mr. Yarn", where she wants to know why the web novel writer Mr. Yarn has stopped updating his novel - she is so anxious at the upcoming twist that she's losing sleep. After Hailey finds Mr. Yarn, actually Ryan, and helps get him inspiration, Kaitlyn tells Hailey that the novel has been updated, accidentally spoiling the big twist for her, which she apologizes for.
She is normally found inside Settle In Bookstore in Shopper's Row. When talked to while playing as Hailey Anne, she will tell the player that the latest issue of the Sailor Cuties manga has just arrived.
In the anime
She plays minor roles in some episodes, but is usually a background character.
