Lina (Japanese: 前田里奈 Maeda Rina) is a student in class 5-2 and a classmate to Nate and Katie.

Appearance
Lina has a fair skin and long blue hair with bangs that cover her eyes. She wears a light purple dress with a dark purple cardigan on top.
Personality
Lina is a mysterious, spooky girl with a strong passion for ghosts. She has a strong spiritual connection and can frequently sense Yo-kai, but is unable to see any.
History
Yo-kai Watch
She is involved in the Sneaking Suspicion request. In The Floating Helmet, it is revealed that Lina is the leader of the Urban Legends Club.
Yo-kai Watch 2
Lina is part of the Ghost Club alongside Zoey, where the two investigate local rumors involving ghosts. In Ghost Club at School, she investigates the school at night with Zoey to find the source of the mysterious crying. In The Haunted Hospital, Lina explores the abandoned hospital with Lina in hopes of encountering a Yo-kai. In The Phantom Giant, Lina and Zoey investigate the rumor of a giant appearing at the newly constructed Sports Club. When the girls fail to see any ghosts, Lina is disheartened and gives up on the investigation. When the elevator ends up taking them to an abandoned construction site, Lina is delighted at the ghostly activity and keeps moving forward. The two end up meeting Massiface, the only Yo-kai they've been able to see, and after hearing his story decide to befriend him and promise to visit him more often.
Yo-kai Watch 3
Lina appears in the quest A Ghost Club Odyssey. This time, she and Zoey head to San Fantastico's Seaside Cave to investigate rumors of a Dragon Palace and crying ghosts in the cave. Inside, the duo meet Odysseynyan, who needs help returning to the Dragon Palace. Hailey helps him do so with the help of Dr. Maddiman, and after exploring Dragon Heights the two are overjoyed. After completing it, if playing as Hailey, the player can enter her house in Breezy Hills.
Relationships
Zoey
Initially, under the influence of Suspicioni, Zoey finds Lina suspicious and starts to secretly follow her. When the player defeats the Yo-kai, Zoey and Lina strike up a friendship over a mutual love for ghosts. In Yo-kai Watch 2, the two form the Ghost Club where they investigate rumors at night in hopes of meeting a Yo-kai.
Nate/Katie
Nate/Katie seem to mostly join her and Zoey's adventures to protect them from agressive Yo-kai. They end up forming a good friendship.
Hailey
Hailey, Zoey and Lina strike up a friendship after the three of them investigate rumors of a "Dragon Palace" in Seaside Cave in San Fantastico, where the strong energy in the innermost cave let Zoey and Lina see the Yokai normally.

Lina appears in ND030, in a quest similar to Chapter 10 of the first game and the quest The Haunted Hospital of the second game.
Trivia
- As of Yo-kai Watch 3, she is known to live in Breezy Hills, in a villa which is just to the left of Eddie's house. It can be entered by Hailey Anne when she completes their request.
- She and Zoey have seen more Yo-kai then any character who don't have a watch that also can't see Yo-kai naturally, that being 7 different Yo-kai.
