Yo-kai Medallium biography
"This massive being roams the earth on cloud-covered nights, searching for kids who've stayed up too late. Sleep well!"

Clipso (Japanese: 月影入道 Tsukikage Nyūdō) is a Boss Yo-kai introduced in Yo-kai Watch.

Clipso is the fourth boss of the Infinite Inferno.

Biology

Like nearly every Boss Yo-kai in the Infinite Inferno, Clipso is a palette swap, this one being of Massiface. In contrast to Massiface, Clipso has black skin, blue hair, and red lines running all over his body. Aside from his general shape, one thing Clipso keeps from his counterpart is the color of his eyes except for the sclera, which is pitch black instead of the grey-black shade Massiface has, giving them a void-like appearance.

Profile

Yo-kai Watch

Clipso appears in the fourth floor of Infinite Inferno, having to be defeated in order to gain access to the fifth floor, though there is a room you can access on the fifth floor without defeating the boss.

When confronted, the background changes to the construction site in which Massiface was battled. Whisper reminisces to the series of events which led to said battle, such as Kyubi's planning and the meeting with Komasan.

Being a recolor of Massiface, Clipso follows a similar attack scheme. His attacks are the following: a hand stamp that hits a single Yo-kai, a flick to the forehead that deals damages and causes confusion, a glare that reduces Defense, and an earthquake-like attack that hits the whole front row. The main strategy is to target his eyes one at a time and hit them until they close. Once both eyes are closed, Clipso won't be able to use his glare, and the accuracy of all his single-target attacks will be significantly reduced.

Being far stronger than Massiface, a team of higher-leveled Yo-kai are recommended when battling him.

Yo-kai Watch 2

Clipso appears in the fourth floor of Infinite Inferno, having to be defeated in order to gain access to the fifth floor.

As with the previous game, when battling him, the background changes to the construction site in which Massiface was battled. This time, Whisper comments about making this far into the Infinite Inferno, though having no idea in which floor they are. When asked by the protagonist about Clipso, Whisper dismisses him as an easy opponent.
