
Issue 185 is the one hundred and eighty-fifth edition of Sonic the Comic. Released on the 12th July 2000 at the price of £1.35, the issue contains four reprinted stories (all of them "new") and several features. It was the first issue to contain no original strips.

Sonic presents a new edition of Speedlines, answering letters about the return of the feature, an STC theme park, Sonic's lack of friendship with others and Boomers' own creations "Chaotic" and "Whipz Prower", Tails' long-lost cousin.
In the Graphic Zone, the theme is "Holiday Heaven", with Sonic and friends enjoying the hot weather. Printed submissions won a Sonic the Hedgehog watch.
