Sonic the Hedgehog
War of the Worlds! is a complete story largely set in the ancient past. Written by Nigel Kitching, drawn by Richard Elson and lettered by Ellie de Ville, the story sees the creation of Chaos, borne from a collision of an energy sword and the Chaos Emeralds. As Knuckles the Echidna leads the echidna tribe against the Drakon invaders, Sonic gets stuck into a fight with Chaos. Elsewhere, the Freedom Fighters head to Doctor Robotnik's secret base for a showdown with the Chaos monster.
Features
The Data Zone acts as an introduction to the issue's important characters, giving quick descriptions of Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Robotnik and Chaos.
Sonic continues his reign over Speedlines, with Boomers asking about Knuckles' family, requesting Sonic figures, Sonic the Movie, presenting a story of how to bring Johnny Lightfoot back fom the dead and one reader suggests that Chaos should keep the Emeralds and let Knuckles join the Freedom Fighters.
The theme of this week's Graphic Zone is "International Escapades". Readers who get their country-themed pictures published win a Sonic the Hedgehog watch.
