Sonic the Hedgehog
Prisoner of War! is a complete story that takes place within the Sonic Adventure story arc. Written by Nigel Kitching, drawn by Richard Elson and lettered by Ellie de Ville, the story follows the ancient echidna tribe as they try to tackle an uninvited Drakon Prosecutor. Sonic, rattled that Tikal is hiding something from him, tries to help Knuckles the Echidna to fight it, but to no avail. Instead, it's down to the hedgehog to show them how it's done. With the Drakon captured, Sonic is taken to Pochacamac, spiritual leader, who has something to show him - the stolen Chaos Emeralds.
Features
The Data Zone gives a recap of the comic's characters and stories for new Boomers, with profiles on Sonic, Tikal, Knuckles, Doctor Robotnik and Chaos (although the latter is neither seen or mentioned in the comic).
The theme of the Graphic Zone is Manic Mix-Ups!, with several STC regulars getting mixed into single pictures and even Mickey Mouse gets involved! Owners of published pictures received a Sonic the Hedgehog watch.
