The Bravado Youga (pronounced yoga) is a full-size van appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description
Grand Theft Auto VI

The Youga appeared in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks in a single clip, where it can faintly be seen three times in traffic near Hank's Waffles in Port Gellhorn.[1]
Influence
The Youga is primarily based on the 1994–2003 Dodge Ram Van, with the addition of an extra driver's side sliding door, while its stacked headlights and front grille appear to be inspired by those on the 1996–2002 Chevrolet Express LS. The shape of the taillights is similar to that of the fourth generation Ford Econoline, but the overall layout is more aligned with the second-generation Dodge Ram Van. Additionally, the side mirrors also bear a resemblance to those found on the Ram Van. The stock wheels resemble RS Watanabe 8-spoke wheels, a rim design also found on the Futo and the Warrener.
Design
The design of the Youga is rather simple, featuring a large body and a relatively ample cabin. The front end of the van has a bulky chrome bumper with a small intake on the center and a plate holder on the driver side. The middle area is predominated by the small dual intakes and the dual grille with black surroundings and a colored horizontal separation on the middle, with the lower one bearing the silver lettering on the left displaying the manufacturer name, and the upper one the manufacturer emblem on the center. The outer edges of the car have dual sets of rectangular headlights with a blacked-out appearance and small turn signals. It also has a small sloped hood.
The sides of the van are very traditional, featuring protruding arches and mudguard extensions on the rear. Single body lines can be seen running through the sides, which are at the same height as the upper headlights, together with black door handles and rectangular mirrors. The cabin area uses small sunshades/deflectors on the door windows, as well as dual windows on the rear section. Despite the apparent use of sliding doors (evident by the location of the handles), these cannot be opened at all, as they are within the model.
The rear end of the van follows a similar pattern to most vans, with large compartment doors, black handles and a body line connected to the ones on the sides. The rear left door bears the silver lettering displaying the manufacturer name on the lower left corner, while the rear right one bears the name and "5.0 Turbo-D" badges on the lower right corner. The car also features a bulky chrome bumper with the license plate on the center, as well as the single exhaust pipe on the right, just below the bumper.
The interior of the van is shared with vehicles like the first generation Burrito and the Pony, using the same dashboard model and analog dials. Even though it has an ample room, the Youga is only capable of carrying the driver and a passenger, since the rear compartment lacks rear seats and is mostly intended for accommodation of a roll cage.
The primary color of the Youga is applied on the bodywork, while the secondary one is applied on the lower sections and the arches. The stock wheels appear to be a variation of the "Fujiwara" tuner rims available in Los Santos Customs, wrapped in medium-profile tires.
Performance
Even with added performance parts, the Youga remains reluctant when accelerating. Top speed is rather low (in comparison to vehicles like the Duneloader, which can reach higher speeds). One feature of this van is its weight and durability. Both are very high, giving it the ability to ram vehicles without slowing down much or taking damage. Despite its bulky weight, it has reasonable handling at medium speeds, although it can face difficulties at higher speeds, especially due to its poor braking distance.
The van is powered by a high-performance, transversely-laid single-cam Inline-4, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox in a front engine, rear wheel drive configuration. The vehicle has two badges: one stating to have a 5.0 (5.0L) Turbo-D (Turbo Diesel) engine and other stating to have a 5000 TTD Turbocharged engine (resulting in a 5.0L Twin Turbocharged Diesel engine). It uses a low-revving and smooth engine sound shared with vans such as the Burrito, the Rumpo and the Pony. In the enhanced version, the van assumes a smoother tone, as with the Burrito, the Speedo and the Pony.

Oversights
Grand Theft Auto V and Online
- Even if the "Panel Van Conversion" modification replaces the door and rear side windows with full body panels, hitting the sides or shooting at them will still produce a sound as if the windows got shattered, and the bullets would still go through.
Radio Stations
- In Grand Theft Auto V and Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The Youga uses the "Rap" group which can play:
- West Coast Classics
- Radio Los Santos

Trivia
General
Cultural References
- The van's modifications come from "Dajiban" (Japanese romanization of "Dodge Van") racing, which is a spec race of Dodge Ram vans that was started by Japanese motorcycle racers who ignored rules on Ebisu Circuit and raced the vans they used to haul their bikes. Many of the vans used to haul the motorcycles were short-body Dodge Ram vans which were originally imported to Japan by the US Military, but then were sold off due to age. Most, if not all Dajiban racing vans are modified in a similar way to the ones in-game. A yearly Dajiban race, Dodge Van Grand Prix (often shortened to D-Van GP) takes place at Ebisu Circuit.
- The van is named after Hodori Youga, Setagaya, in Tokyo, Japan, where I-5 Corporation, an importer of American vehicles specializing in importation and modification of Dodge Ram vans is located. Although the company imports other American vehicles, the Dodge van continues to be a specialty due to the motorsport and continuing demand after the US Military sold all of its imports. The dealership of the importer is dubbed "Youga Base" by racers and the nickname is often displayed in stickers on the vans.
- The vehicle's appearance with these modifications in-game is a reference to the emerging popularity of similarly modifying then racing Dodge Ram Vans in the US, which began around 2010 when western automotive blogs and news sites first reported on it. Popularity further increased in the western world when videos[2] explaining the phenomenon were uploaded to YouTube.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online
- Because it has a diesel engine, the Youga does not have a blow-off valve, even if turbo tuning is added in Los Santos Customs.
- The Youga is called the 游侠/遊俠 (Yóuxiá) or Ranger in the international Chinese release, which has similar pronunciation to Youga.
