The Pegassi Torero XO is a two-door supercar added to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the The Criminal Enterprises update.
Influence
The Torero XO appears to be largely based on the 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.
Design
The vehicle is depicted as a newer iteration of the Torero, having a similar design to modern Pegassi cars such as the Tempesta and the Ignus. On the front end, the car features a carbon-fibre detail/splitter at the bottom that also spans the sides, and a set of three mesh intakes, with the central one being twice as wide than the outer ones, followed by a narrow mesh grille with a "TORERO XO" badge on the passenger side. On the upper area, the outer sections house pop-down headlamps with four main units inside and modern strips ahead that are split between smaller turn indicators on the outer side and large high-beam units on the inner side, while the centre is occupied by a front boot bearing the Pegassi badge on the front and a narrow intake near the windscreen, which hinges from the front and opens to reveal a small luggage compartment. A carbon-fibre section can be seen ahead of the windscreen, with additional ones underneath the boot lid and around the luggage compartment.
Its interior is the same from cars such as the Ignus, the Nero and the XA-21, with the Pegassi logo visible on the horn cap and the headrests. A small window provides vision to the engine bay.
The vehicle is painted with a primary colour on the bodywork, engine details and interior stitching, and a secondary colour on the central detail of the cross frames. A trim colour is also available for most of the interior, being part of the dashboard, steering wheel, doors and seats. It uses a set of six-spoke rims with hexagonal patterns on the outer portions which are wrapped with low-profile tyres, with the rear ones being slightly wider. The rims can also support a dedicated colour, although only naturally-generated examples may have one, which is set to black.
Performance
The Torero XO is powered by a V12 engine whose model is derived from cars such as the Infernus Classic, the Torero and the Toros. It is coupled to a 7-speed gearbox in a mid-engine, all-wheel-drive layout (48.5% front, 51.5% rear distribution), and it uses the same engine sound as cars such as the T20, the Tempesta, the Zorrusso and the Ignus, albeit with a higher pitch.
Performance wise, the Torero XO is on par, if not slightly better, than the Ignus. With a powerful V12 and all-wheel drive, it accelerates hard and gets up to speed in no time at all. Combined with a high top speed and good downforce, it can be considered as one of the best performing cars in its class in terms of acceleration and stability. In terms of handling, it can be described as a 'no drama' supercar as it turns beautifully into and out of corners with negligible amount of understeer or oversteer. Pushed slightly over the limit, the Torero XO can be iffy at the rear, but still manageable for experienced players.
