The Dinka Blista Kanjo (ブリスタ・カンジョ, Burisuta Kanjo) is a three-door hatchback featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of The Diamond Casino Heist update, released on February 20, 2020, during the Blista Kanjo Week event.
Description
The Blista Kanjo was initially featured as a mission-only vehicle in the "Getaway Vehicles" preparation and later used as a possible getaway vehicle in the Casino Heist. However, as of the Blista Kanjo Week event, it became available for purchase.
Influence
The Blista Kanjo is an amalgamation of several 1990s Honda cars. It is mainly based on the 1997-2000 Honda Civic Type R (EK9), with the tail lights derived from either 1996-1998 Honda Today (JA4/5) or 1996-2001 Honda Logo (GA3/5). The front fascia, although entirely taken from the EK9, has the headlights resembling the 1996-2001 Honda Integra SJ (EK3), while the main grille, including the placement of the front Dinka badge, is more akin to the normal sixth generation Civics, albeit the grille is slightly enlarged. Furthermore, the engine model in the vehicle strongly resembles the B16B engine that powers the EK9 Civic.
Liveries
- Unlike the liveries of the same name for the other vehicles, the "Shopping List" livery features an actual food list, and most likely references these stickers in real life.
- The "Clubman Racer", "Outlaw Racer", "Highway Hunter", and "Midnight Champion" liveries are inspired by several examples in Kanjozoku culture.[2]
- The insulting V sign can be seen on the Dinka door plates on some of the liveries; this is a reference to the hand logo of No Good Racing, a local Kanjozoku team.
- If the "Outlaw Racer" livery is applied to the vehicle, a quote saying "Too Slow, Mr. Policeman!!" can be seen under the vehicle's stock spoiler and some of the custom ones. This could also be a reference to said team, as their main slogan is "Bye Bye POLICE" that is often used on their stickers and on liveries for their vehicles.
- The "Atomic Motorsport" livery resembles the iconic blue and yellow Spoon Sports Hondas.
- The "Globe Oil Racing" livery nearly resembles the Idemitsu (出光) motor oil livery for the 1991 Honda Civic (EF9).
- The "最速" (Saisoku) mark on the livery means "Fastest" in Japanese.
- The "Dinka Race Team" livery resembles the 1998 Gathers Drider Civic.
- The "Retro Fukaru" livery resembles the 1987 Mugen Motul Civic SI.
- The "Street Samurai" livery is mainly inspired from Utagawa Kuniyoshi's woodblock print series, Heroes of the Grand Pacification (太平記英勇伝, Taiheiki Eiyu Den)[3][4]. However, despite of its Japanese themes, the livery features a Chinese Dragon that placed on the vehicle's bonnet.
Design
The Blista Kanjo follows the general profile and layout from the Blista and the Blista Compact, with a design that seems to be derived from both (the rounded design from the former and the length from the latter). On the front end, the bumper is predominated by a central trapezium-shaped intake spanning about half the car's width and two impressed formations on either side, while a black/plastic extender can be seen at the bottom. Right above the bumper, there is a trapezium-shaped mesh grille with a plastic surrounding and the manufacturer emblem in the middle, while the outer sections are occupied by large headlamps and turning signals on either side. The bonnet area is relatively simple, having two curved lines that start from beside the grille and almost reach the lowermost corners of the windscreen.
The sides of the car are quite simple, having flared wheel arches, black/plastic side skirts and protruding side trim with silver badging near the rear wheels, as well as body/waist lines connected to the outer edges of the headlamps and tail lamps, and painted horizontal door handles. The cabin area features thin plastic trim around the windows and painted wing mirrors near the A-pillars, while a black/plastic roof spoiler can be seen above the rear window.
The rear end assumes a simpler pattern, where the boot/compartment lid features a trapezium-shaped inset section for the number plate, a sectioned detail above and silver badges on the passenger side, while the outer areas are occupied by the tail lamps, separated into upper brake units, middle main units, outer turn signals and lower reverse units. The bumper extends a bit further from the rest of the car and features a thin ridge on the upper area and a black/plastic extender at the bottom, while a single exhaust tube is visible on the passenger side.
The interior uses the "Feroci" dial set and interior used on various cars, such as the Coquette, the Habanero and the Intruder. However, unlike most vehicles with the same interior, the horn cap bears the manufacturer's emblem.
Most of the Blista Kanjo's bodywork is painted in a primary colour, while the rear-view mirrors and interior stitching are painted in secondary. Although not accessible, a trim colour is also available for the padding of certain "Roll Cage" modifications. It uses a set of rims that are similar to the "Rally Master" tuner wheels available at mod shops, though with a slightly different centre. The rims can also support a dedicated colour, although only examples in Content Creator can have one, as naturally-generated ones assign the default alloy as the wheel colour.

Performance
The Blista Kanjo has immense body roll when turning, making it difficult to maintain control around even the lightest corners and oversteer is quite present without full suspension upgrades. However, it makes up for its drifting capabilities, able to take corners easily in the hands of a skilled driver. One should note that due to the excessive wheelspin, the car may take a few seconds to start moving unless the player slightly pushes the throttle input. The car is capable of performing J-turns rather easily, given the right power and timing.
The Blista Kanjo is powered by a 4-cylinder engine laid transversely, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox in a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. It is possible to add a turbocharger via modifications, although it is an aesthetic option and does not improve its performance, unless the actual "Turbo" modification is installed.

Prominent Appearances in Gameplay
- Should the player employ Karim Denz as the driver for The Diamond Casino Heist, he may request the player to steal two Blista Kanjos as getaway vehicles.
- May appear in the parking garage during Acid Product: Police sting.
- Exotic Exports – This is one of the hundred possible cars that can be requested by Brucie Kibbutz for delivery.
Locations
- Available for purchase from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $580,000 or for $435,000 after completing The Diamond Casino Heist as the Heist Leader and using the Blista Kanjo as a getaway vehicle.
Events
- Could be won from the Lucky Wheel in the Casino during the GTA Online Bonuses (April 2021 Part 1) event.
- The vehicle came in Metallic Black Steel w/ Lava Red pearl as the primary colour and a metallic Bluish Silver as the secondary colour, with a "Shopping List" livery. Uniquely, the vehicle didn't feature the stock plastic roof spoiler on its rear window, which was the only way to legitimately get the vehicle without it, as the option to remove the stock spoiler is not an available modification. The stock spoiler will automatically be restored if the player selects the "Spoilers" tab when customising the vehicle.
- During Shake Up and Top Marks Week, players could once again obtain a spoiler-less version of the vehicle by purchasing it at Premium Deluxe Motorsport.
Oversights
- When the player drives a damaged Blista Kanjo into LS Customs, the car will automatically be repaired for free.
- This was patched in the Los Santos Summer Special update.[7]
- The "Stickerbomb Front Fenders" modification features a permanent black portion on the right skirt, but not on the left one. This may cause a visual mismatch when selecting any of the "Skirts" modifications.
- The "Window Nets" modification prevents the player from using/selecting weapons inside the car.
Radio Stations
- In Grand Theft Auto Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The Blista Kanjo uses the "Pop" group which can play:
Trivia
- The Japanese Romanji text "Kanjo", is correctly spelled "Kanjō" (かんじょう). While the Japanese localization of the game did not address this, the word itself can be written as 環状 in Kanji, referring to the 環状族 "Kanjōzoku" style of vehicle tuning, wherein the real-life counterpart of the Blista Kanjo, the Honda Civic, is often a subject of.
