The Grotti Carbonizzare is a two-door grand tourer appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Influence
The Carbonizzare's design appears to primarily draw inspiration from the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, incorporating features from the Ferrari California, mainly the car's convertible feature, as the V12 Zagato does not feature any folding roof mechanism, but also the shape of the rear windshield and the mirrors. The headlights, front bumper air intakes, and integrated LED daytime running lights closely resemble those of the TranStar Racing Dagger GT. Furthermore, the tail lights seem to be derived from the Ferrari F430, while the diffuser shows some resemblance to that of the Ferrari 458.
Design
Grand Theft Auto V and Online
The Carbonizzare takes on a simplistic, but modern and sporty design, with LED daytime running lights lining the headlights as well as the front intakes. Numerous elements of the car are covered in carbon fiber, such as the rear vents & diffuser, as well as the wing mirrors. The rear of the car prominently displays the Grotti name as chrome badging across the trunk lid, between a set of circular twin brake lights. This hood/bonnet opens to reveal the engine bay and a built-in strut brace.
The car used the "Schafter Brown" interior, a derivative of the interior found on the Schafter and the Tailgater with a unique tan color. features a tan coloured interior, in a similar manner to the Super Diamond.
The car only utilizes the primary color slot, used for the body and the interior stitching. It uses a set of wheels similar to the "Hypher" high-end rims available in Los Santos Customs.
Grand Theft Auto VI

The Carbonizzare appears in the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, retaining most of its previous design, but with updated, higher-quality taillight textures and a subtly thicker, more conventional fender-to-taillight junction.
Performance
The Carbonizzare is a fairly middle-of-the-road Sports car, with good acceleration and top speed. Its handling is very well balanced between understeer and oversteer, making it easy to drive and hard to spin out. Understeer is more pronounced at higher speeds but is easily manageable. Crash deformation is acceptable compared to other Sports cars, but it won't take many collisions for performance-reducing damage to occur. While very well balanced in its entirety, the Carbonizzare's lack of distinction makes it a fairly meager choice for a racing vehicle. Overall, the Carbonizzare is a solid choice for newer players but lacks potential in more skilled hands.
This car features a front-mounted modelled twin-cam inline-4 engine with a cylindrical air filter mounted on its intake manifold. Despite being modelled as a inline-4, it sounds more like a high revving, flat-plane V12. It has a 6-speed transmission and a front engine, rear wheel drive layout.

Trivia
General
- Carbonizzare is Italian for "to carbonize".
Grand Theft Auto V and Online
- In the screenshot where this car first appeared, it had no windscreen wipers. Also, in the same screenshot, it had six spoke wheels, but interestingly, the outer part of the wheel hub is visible, meaning that the wheel has been inset too far into the body, or has not been correctly modeled to fit this car.
- According to ambient audio files, the Carbonizzare is one of several named vehicles in-game that make up distant car sounds.[1] Other vehicles include the Entity XF, Cheetah, Comet, Daemon, Banshee, Vacca and Feltzer.
