The Överflöd Pipistrello is an electric supercar featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update.
Description
“Plus, look out for the opportunity to secure a new bonus super car as part of your GTA+ Membership with this summer’s big GTA Online update.”
The car was first announced in a Newswire post on April 2nd, 2024, where it was revealed that players would be able to claim a new supercar for free with a GTA+ Membership.
“This summer’s upcoming GTA Online update will bring new opportunities for GTA+ Members to expand their car collection with new rides. Members will receive the new Överflöd Pipistrello super car arriving with this summer’s GTA Online update for free.”
It was later depicted and named on May 2nd, 2024, in a Newswire post.
The car was initially available for GTA+ Members on the Bottom Dollar Bounties update's initial release day, and became available for everybody on 4 July 2024.[1]
Influence
The vehicle is designed based on the 2023 Estrema Fulminea, an electric supercar, with certain features flipped in comparison to its real-life counterpart, particularly the side vents and headlights. The arrangement of the headlights may have also been influenced by the Hennessey Venom F5, while the tail lights, though resembling those of the Fulminea, may have drawn inspiration from the 2009 BMW Vision EfficientDynamics. The fins are notably sharper and longer than those on the Fulminea, resembling those of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut.
