Garnet (ガーネット Gānetto) is a villager from Ishigami Village. She is one of the three Sparkly Sisters along with her siblings Sapphire and Ruby. Her parents are Alabaster and Dia.
Appearance
Garnet is a young woman with long blonde hair and large red eyes with visible eyelashes. Her lips are more prominent and darker than her sisters'. She also has bangs that reach the tops of her cheekbones and frame her face with an errant thick strand falling between her eyes. Her eyebrows are thin and tilt downward.
Her outfit consists of a long, turquoise-blue, tube-top-style dress with no sleeves. It has a high slit on the right side which is held together with a thin brown string, going up to her hip. The top hem is slightly rolled over, exposing the undyed brown underside. She also wears a matching fabric collar around her neck, attached with a piece of rope wrapped around her neck and tied in a bow on the right side. Another rope is tied around her right thigh, exposed by the slit.
Additionally, she has a passing resemblance to her ancestor, Lillian Weinberg. According to Kohaku, she and her sisters are the prettiest women in the village.[3]
Personality
Garnet appears to have a similar personality to her other two sisters as she is usually seen discussing boys. She seems to talk slightly more than the others. Out of the three, she prefers physically strong men.
Abilities and Skills
Garnet has never been seen with any unique abilities.
Synopsis
Kingdom of Science Arc
She is first seen along with her two sisters discussing the outsider, Senku. She argues with Sapphire that all that matters is if the outsider is strong or not, rather than cute.[4] They're later shown vaguely discussing love, lounging on a set of rocks in their bikinis while Suika listens in on them.[5]
Village Games Arc
In the fight between Argo and Ginro, Garnet shrieks with horror at how beaten up Ginro looked following one of Argo's barrages of hits.[6] She then appears disgusted alongside her sisters when Ginro tells everyone his plans to have everyone have a harem. She tells him that there aren't enough women in the village to make it happen.[7]
Communications Arc
When Senku makes cotton candy, Garnet is shown in ecstasy over how delicious it is. After Senku asks Gen about Homura, Garnet and the others assume he's interested in a girl. However, Senku reveals Homura is spying on them.[8]
On Christmas, Garnet is amazed at the beauty of the large tree Senku lit up with light bulbs.[9]
In the anime, she is part of the crowd listening to the record Byakuya left, surprised that they're able to hear the founder's voice.[10]
