Chapter 75

20-Second Countdown (COUNT (カウント) DOWN (ダウン) 2 0, Kaunto Daun 20) is the seventy-fifth chapter of the Dr. Stone manga

Summary

The 20-second battle begins. The gun atop the tank fires its bluff bullet, exploding dramatically above the Cave of Miracles. Within the tank, they realize that the area is likely booby-trapped, but Senku commands them to rush straight ahead despite the danger. It immediately activates several pitfall traps.

Close behind, the fighters rush up to deal with the surprised enemies. Senku told them not to kill anyone, which makes combat extremely difficult. Taiju draws fire towards himself, but is unaffected thanks to his carbon fiber shield (and his tough skin). He yells at the others that hurting people is wrong.

Kohaku takes down several enemies, with Kokuyo close behind to capture them properly. The steam gorilla then runs out of steam, stuck in a pitfall trap. Magma saunters over, Senku entrusting the shock cannon to him. Magma pulls it out of the tank in a dramatic display, using Chrome's help to set up the sound bombs. The bomb explodes, sending a sonic wave forward and causing everyone in front of them to faint.

On the sidelines, Minami attempts to escape to inform Tsukasa of what's happening, but she gets captured. A lucky attack breaks their final sound bomb, so instead Taiju stands in front of the shock cannon and yells at full volume, blasting everyone behind him backward. With that final attack, the Cave of Miracles is secured.
