Philip is a little diesel box cab who occasionally comes to visit from The Island of Sodor. He made a cameo in the first episode of Railside Tales.

Technical Details

Basis

Philip is loosely based on the Pennsylvania Railroad's Class A6 "Boxcab" diesel-electric switcher with modifications to enable him to work on Sodor. These include an added back door, a circular back, loose couplings and added buffers.

Livery

Philip is painted dark green and yellow with the number 68 on his sides in black, surrounded by a white circle with a black outline.
