Brianne is a Dark Maroon Tender Engine.

Biography

Brianne is a spunky, hard-working quarry engine, who was developed early on in the series. she would have seen focus in stories of her own in early plans of the series. Her model was a simple design; an usual 2-4-0 version of James (in his black livery) was repainted magenta, and given a facelift. When two USB drives containing animation data for Crotoonia was lost in 2014, so was Brianne.

In 2024 however she was remodeled to be more original in design.

Technical Details

Basis

Brianne's original design was a member of the L&YR Class 28, a class of 0-6-0 mixed-traffic tender locomotive designed by George Hughes for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway and built by Horwich Works between 1909 and 1912, modified into a 2-4-0 configuration. James and the unnamed orange tender engine are also members of this class.

her 2024 redesign is a freelanced 2-8-0 loosely resembling those from the Railway Operating Division.

Livery

Brianne is Dark Maroon with Gold Lining on her Boiler.

Originally, Brianne was painted magenta with scarlet red lining and brass boiler bands and dome.
