Calley

Calley is a small rescue engine from Chuggington.

Personality

Calley is a brave rescue engine who serves as the right-hand "chugger" to Jackman, Chief's Engine to the Crotoonian Fire and Rescue Squad. Brave, motherly and always out to help others, Calley is always encouraging other engines to do their best, and never to put themselves down whenever things go awry. Calley is often placed in charge of special details when rescues aren't about, such as delivering emergency supplies to stations or shunting equipment in the HQ's Yards.

Calley is loosely based on a Krauss-Maffei 0-6-0DH.

Livery

Calley is painted red and blue with red and yellow caution stripes on the front of her buffer beams. Her cab roof is also painted blue.

• She travels far faster than her basis is capable of.
• She is currently the only Chuggington character, and only character in general, to appear in the series while retaining her original voice actress. She was voiced by her in the US dub of Chuggington during the first five seasons.

^[1]A sort of big sister figure to the younger engines, Calley works with Chief Jackman, Wilson the Trainee, Flynn and Belle the Fire Engines, and the other members of the Crotoonian Search and Rescue Team (or Crotoonia Patrol to some) to keep the rails safe from any threat. Straightforward, hardworking and brave, Calley is small, but still rather powerful, and a key member of the rescue crew.
