Mike is a small strong red engine who works on the Chipperton and Swahilli Railway.
Personality
Mike is the youngest of the Arlesdale engines brought to Crotoonia, and it shows! Fitting his paintwork, he has a tendency to get hot-headed, blow his stack, and get a bit full of himself. Of course, the other two engines don't take much notice and get on with their work, with a little teasing on the side. Unlike most engines, however, Mike prefers working with freight trains, since the freight cars are less likely to complain and straightforward! Because of this, he's often sent first on jobs involving collecting cargo from Chipperton Wharf or collecting ballast from Conifton Quarry. Thus, despite his arrogant attitude, he does prove himself a tough and hard worker who finishes work down to the last ounce of steam in his pressure valve.
