Roja is a small red tender engine who lives at Kahlville Junction. She is yet to have a proper role as of late.

Basis

Roja is of a freelance design and therefore she does not resemble a specific prototype. She shares the same design as Azul, albeit with a different funnel design.

Livery

Roja is painted in a two-tone red livery ("roja" being the Spanish word for "red", hence her name) with grey wheels and yellow nameplates.

• Like Huey, Azul, Senior Chugga and Amarillo, Roja originated from Dora the Explorer.
  • Much like Amarillo, Senior Chugga, and Huey, she was originally nameless in the episode she appeared in.
  • She also has a different same whistle sound effect. Her original whistle sound is also used for Emma.
    • In The Railways of Crotoonia, Roja uses Percy and Henry's whistle sound from Thomas and the Magic Railroad. It is also used for The Greendale Rocket's whistle in Crotoonia, albeit at three semitones lower in pitch.
• Roja is one of sixteen engines currently of the fleet to be given a name specific to Crotoonia.
