- For a similarly named weapon, see MG 15.
The MG08/15 is a light machine gun that appears exclusively in the Origins Zombies map of Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The design appears to be heavily embellished with diesel punk elements.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
It is effective at sustaining fire, due to its relatively low recoil, high magazine, moderate rate of fire and good damage, killing with one headshot until round 7. However, it has low mobility, imperfect accuracy (meaning bullets spread even when aiming down the sights) and long reload speed to counter its usefulness as a mobile weapon. With the exception of reload speed, it is statistically the same as LSAT.
When Pack-a-Punched, it becomes the Magna Collider. It has higher damage (one hit headshot until round 13), an increased ammunition capacity, the bullets ricochet and hip fire crosshairs are smaller, making hip fire more accurate.
A player can obtain a free Magna Collider, by building the Maxis Drone and have it collect four yellow discs scattered across the map. The gun will appear in front of the Pack-a-Punch Machine.
