The AW-50 is a bolt-action sniper rifle featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It was cut from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

The only evidence of its existence lies in the game's files, which when accessed through modding leave an unfinished gun which takes the appearance of the Dragunov, makes similar noise as the Barrett .50cal and has a five round magazine, as well as a very low firecap. It also has less recoil than the Barrett .50cal and does not make any noise when reloading. Note that there is also no ammo counter.
The AW-50 was probably cut because the developers thought two .50 caliber rifles, or 3 bolt-action rifles were unnecessary.
In game files, it is possible to find two files, one texture and one menu icon, however, both are completely black and small-sized. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, only menu icon file is found; again; it is small-sized and completely black.

- "Hard hitting, bolt action sniper rifle with .50 cal BMG ammunition. Its tungsten sabot tipped bullets are fast and powerful, but require precise shots over long distances."
- — In-game description
The AW-50 appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II as the Victus XMR. It was added as part of the Season One update.
The Victus XMR is also available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III as part of the Modern Warfare II content carryover.

Trivia
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- In the game files, it shows a lack of the usual 1.5x multipliers on sniper rifles, and the maximum damage, as well as the minimum damage, is 100, indicating that it may have been cut early in development.
- The AW-50 has its own sound effects, even its own firing sound effect, which differs from the Barrett's as it is a slightly higher-pitched sound. Having its own sound effects which were never implemented in the soundmap, this is the reason it makes no sounds while reloading.
- The seemingly large firecap is due to the long rechamber time that would have been in place due to the bolt-action nature of the AW-50.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
- The MCPR-300 in the campaign is referred to as the Victus XMR for unknown reasons.
- The "Violence and Timing" blueprint is a reference to the mission of the same name.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0
- During Saint Patrick's Day of 2023, a variant called Shillelagh could appear at a cache of supply boxes on Ashika Island and Al Mazrah at the end of a rainbow. This particular variant was capable of killing or downing any player in one shot, regardless of plates.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
- The Victus XMR's Pack-a-Punch name, Veni Vidi Victus, is a reference to Veni, vidi, vici, a Latin quote used refer to a swift, conclusive victory and was said by Julius Caesar, with its meaning being: "I came; I saw; I conquered".
