"Full-auto assault rifle. High damage at short range with moderate recoil."
— In-game description

The KN-57 is an assault rifle featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It was developed in Russia by the fictional manufacturer FREDEK. It also has an MKII variant along with 2 Mastercraft variants.

Multiplayer

The KN-57 handles similarly to its counterpart, the KN-44, and fulfills the same role within multiplayer as a middle-of-the-road assault rifle with no particular standout strengths or weaknesses. At point-blank range, the KN takes four shots to kill but quickly drops off to five.

The KN has a rate of fire of 550 RPM, which is around average for the assault rifle category and pushes its effective engagement range out to close-medium range. Recoil manifests as a constant pull upwards and is easily manageable, but may hinder accuracy at longer ranges.

Handling is somewhat average for the assault rifle category, and does not suffer from any glaring deficiencies on the aspect of handling. The KN-57's reload time is 1.62 seconds, being decreased to 0.92 seconds with Hybrid Mags. As with most weapons, the Quickdraw and Grip are never bad choices and serve to increase the KN-57's reliability.

The KN-57 is a "jack of all trades, master of none" rifle that can be used well in most engagement scenarios, although other weapons outclass it in their respective strengths. In addition, the KN has the unique ability to simultaneously equip Extended Mags and Hybrid Mags in Multiplayer, giving it a massive capacity of 65 rounds.

Zombies

The KN-57 appears in the Zombies maps Voyage of Despair, IX, Blood of the Dead, Classified, Dead of the Night, Ancient Evil, Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten where it's available as a weapon to buy from the wall or the Mystery Box for 950 points.

When upgraded via Pack-a-Punch Machine, it becomes the Ruined Revenger with the magazine size increased to 50 rounds (64/70/75 with Hybrid Mags/Ext. Mags/Both) and its ammo reserve increased to 350. It is unlocked for customization in the armory at level 21.

Attachments

The KN-57 has a great variety of attachments, allowing for several playstyles with a focus on swift handling and increased firepower. The KN is one of the few assault rifles to include a Suppressor.
