Call of Duty: Mobile

"The Reconnaissance Auxiliary Assault Lightweight Machine Gun uses a low fire rate and a reciprocating barrel to mitigate the powerful .338 Norma Mag recoil. Advanced titanium construction keeps the weight manageable."
— In-game description

The RAAL MG returns in Call of Duty: Mobile. It was added in December 2024 as part of the Season 11: Winter War 2 update.

Multiplayer

The RAAL MG fits a similar niche as the PKM, as that of a slow but powerful Light Machine Gun. Like the Oden, it favors stopping power over mobility. The RAAL's fire rate is tied with the DR-H, at 571 RPM. The RAAL can be thought of as a beefier PKM - both LMGs can achieve a three-shot kill in their maximum damage range, and will decay to a four-shot kill at long range. However, the RAAL is also significantly slower than the PKM, with a 140 millisecond ADS speed difference in favor of the PKM. However, compared to the PKM, the RAAL can kill a player with two headshots in its maximum damage range.

Recoil is also very similar to the PKM, but it is slightly lower due to its slower rate of fire.

The RAAL's most crippling aspect is its mobility. Compared to other LMGs, it has the worst ADS time, movement spreed, sprint speed, and strafe (aiming movement) speed.

The RAAL has no unique magazine options, but does have an Extended Magazine option and a Fast Magazine option in the form of the 150 Round Belt (which reduces movement ADS Speed for more ammunition) and the 50 Round Belt (which increases overall handling for less ammunition) respectively.

The RAAL is most appealing to players who seek to hold down a singular sightline. However, the PKM may be a better choice for both greater sustainability, as it has larger extended magazines, and for a better time to kill over range.
