Darkness Mage (ダークネスメイジ), known in English as Shamen, is an MAG-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description
Shamen is a Medabot whose model is themed after a magician.
In the games
Shamen is a tank-type Medabot who specializes in applying the "Impair" status effect on his opponents, preventing them from using the affected part. He's most compatible with the Monkey Medal.
In Medarot 2
Shamen's parts are obtainable as rewards after robattling Seaslug. The player will obtain Shamen's head and legs in Rosewood Private School, and receive both his arms in the next encounter with Seaslug. This is also the case in Medarot 2 Core, but Shamen is now also obtainable by fighting against stray tank-type Medabots in the lowest level of the Rubberobo Gang's secret hideout on Medabot Island.
In Medarot R
Shamen is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting Torenchikoto, who is ranked opponent number 77.
