Haniwa, known in Japanese as Haniwa Mirror (ハニワミラー), is an HNI-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description
True to his name, Haniwa is based on a haniwa, a type of terracotta clay figure left in ancient Japan burial sites. He's the upgraded version of Haniwa Golem. His upper half resembles a humanoid haniwa figure, while his legs are intended to look like a horse haniwa, with a long tail and neck consisting of flexible blue tubes. Haniwa's arms feature round shields covered in red jewels, which he can use to effectively deflect lasers and other light-based attacks.
In the games
Like Haniwa Golem before him, Haniwa is a hover-type Medabot whose sole power is "Void Optic". While he is incapable of attacking on his own, any Medabot equipped with Haniwa's head or arm parts will become immune to "Laser" and "Beam" attacks.
Since all Haniwa's parts have the "Cancel" attribute, he's most compatible with the Ghost Medal.
In the anime

Haniwa had brief appearances on the episodes Phantom Renegade Unmasked and Waking to a Dream.
