- For the Medal, see Phoenix Medal.
Phoenix, known in Japanese as HellPhoenix (ヘルフェニックス), is a PHX-type Medabot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.
Description
Based on a mythological creature of the same name, Phoenix is a bird-like Medabot equipped with powerful flamethrowers on his arms and beak. His Leg Parts are designed for flight, and his design features a distinctive red rope tail that trails behind him through the air.
In the games
Phoenix is a flying Medabot that specializes in "Fire" attacks, capable of inflicting the "Burn" status effect to cause lingering damage to his opponents. In Medarot 1, 2, R, and 2 Core, his parts have the "Burn" attribute, making him an obvious choice for use with the Phoenix Medal.
Medarot
Phoenix is the sole user of "Fire" attacks in the first game, and one of the two Medabots capable of causing the "Burn" status effect (the other being Wigwamo). He is also one of the Medabots used by the leader of the Rubberobo Gang, Typhoon.
Phoenix's parts can be obtained from random battles, or bought from the convenience store outside of the Medabot Corporation building.
Medarot 2
Phoenix cannot be obtained normally as he was succeeded by DeathPhoenix. He can only be obtained by transferring his parts from the first game of Medarot Parts Collection after completing the game.
Medabots (GBA)
Phoenix is the leader of the Air Medabot Team in Fort Fiyun.
Medabots AX
Phoenix is Hiro's leader Medabot, while his partner is either Octoclam or Orkamar with Belzelga's Leg Part, Hellchaos equipped.
In the anime

A Phoenix first appeared in the episode Stung by a Metabee as the Medabot from The Rockers' leader, along with two Blackrams. Phoenix also had brief appearances in later episodes like in "For Better, For Worse - Part I" where it lost to a Megaphant.
