Solin (ゾーリン), known in English as Zorin, is a KWG-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description
Zorin resembles Rokusho, but with several small changes to his design. His face is replaced by a solid red visor, while his right arm has a large claw in the place of a sword. The left arm club also has numerous bolts sticking out of it, as opposed to Rokusho's three. Zorin's parts have lower attack power, slower arms and less defense in exchange for stronger armor, higher rate of success and greater remoteness and propulsion. Otherwise, his abilities remain unchanged when compared to his predecessor.
In the games
In Medarot 2 and the remake, Medarot 2 Core, Zorin's parts can be obtained in the Kuwagata Version by completing all of the Medalink Robottles. In Medarot 2 Core, he is also used by Dr. Armond alongside Bayonet and Robo-Emperor.
Medarot 2
Zorin has the same attacks, abilities, and Medaforce as Rokusho, since they both have the Kuwagata Medal. Since this game listed both versions of Rokusho as KWG-0, Zorin was given the model number KWG-1. It was changed in later games.
Medarot R
Zorin's model number is now KWG-2.
Medarot 2 Core
Unlike in Medarot 2, Zorin's model number is still KWG-2 as in Medarot R.
In the anime
In episode 51, Metabee dreams that his army of Bayonets was challenged by an army of Zorin lead by Rokusho. However in the end, everyone except Metabee was defeated. One Zorin is also seen in on display at the Medabot Museum in the Medabots Spirits episode The Truth About Charlie.
