Yoon Seobin (윤서빈) or simply as Seobin, is a South Korean singer-songwriter under AndBut Company and A-Side Company. He made his solo debut on December 14, 2021 with the special single "Starlight".
Career
2019: Produce X 101, controversy and new agency
In 2019, Yoon Seobin became a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Produce X 101 as a trainee representing JYP Entertainment. However, after the first episode was aired, some former schoolmates of him accused him of being a bully in school and shared pictures of him drinking and smoking while being underage. After these allegations, on May 5, 2019, the agency terminated his contract, and he also had to leave the program, causing him to be edited out of the episodes as much as possible.[1]
On December 9, he signed with Sublime Artist Agency, and held a fan meeting titled "Miracle" on December 15.[2]
2021: Debut with "Starlight"
On December 14, 2021, Seobin made his solo debut with his first special single "Starlight".[3]
2022: Departure from SUBLIME, "Beautiful", "100%"
Sometime in January 2022, he quietly departed from SUBLIME.[citation needed]
On April 24, Seobin announced the release of his first digital single "Beautiful" on May 2.[4]
On August 15, Seobin announced that he will be be releasing his second digital single, "100%", on August 22.[5]
2023: "Full of You", "Love is Like a Wave", "Good Morning, Good Night"
On March 9, 2023, Seobin announced his second special single "Full of You", which will be released on March 14.[6]
On June 23, Seobin revealed that he will return with his third digital single on July 26.[7] On July 7, "Love is Like a Wave" was announced.[8]
On December 7, Seobin announced his fourth digital single "Good Morning, Good Night", which will be released on December 13.[9]
2024: Signing with AndBut Company, "Rizz"
On July 18, 2024, it was announced that Seobin had joined AndBut Company and will be managed by A-Side Company.[10][11]
On September 20, he announced that he will be releasing his fifth digital single "Rizz" on October 7.[12]
