Song Ji Eun

Song Ji Eun (송지은; or simply Jieun) is a South Korean singer and actress under her own label, One Soul E&M. She is a former member of the girl group Secret.

She made her solo debut on December 14, 2009 with the single "Yesterday".

Career

2009–2018: Secret

She debuted as a member of Secret on October 13, 2009 with the group's first digital single "I Want You Back".

She made her solo debut on December 14, 2009 with her first digital single "Yesterday".

On February 28, 2018, she announced via Instagram that she was leaving Secret after eight years of activities.[1]

2019: Change of agencies

On January 24, Haewadal Entertainment announced that she had signed on with the agency.[2] However, on April 1, it was announced her exclusive contract had been terminated following conflicting career directions.[3]

On June 22, 6 Oceans announced that she had signed on with the agency.[4]

2020: Going independent

On July 1, she posted on her Daum Cafe account that she would be releasing her first album in 3 years, and that she is now without any agency, after ending her contract with 6 Oceans. The mini album Dream was released on July 26.[5] Since the release of the mini album, she has been under her own label, One Soul E&M.[6]

On December 21, 2023, Song Ji Eun personally announced that she is currently dating YouTuber and disability activist Park We.[7]

On March 12, 2024, Song Ji Eun confirmed that she will be getting married to Park We on October 9.[8][9]
