Byul (별), also written as Star, is a South Korean singer and actress under QUAN Entertainment. She was a member of the project girl group Mamadol.
She debuted as a soloist on October 10, 2002 with the studio album December 32nd.
Career
2021–2022: Mama The Idol and Mamadol
On December 17, 2021, the second episode of Mama The Idol aired, where she was revealed as the fifth participant.[1] She then debuted with the group Mamadol on January 28, 2022 with the release of their single "Mama The Idol", which included the song called "WooAh Hip". Unfortunately, the group then disbanded on February 4 following the airing of the final episode.
Personal life
Family
Byul was born to mother Yoo Eunchong and father Kim Hosang, whom passed away on October 15, 2012.[2]
Relationship
Byul legally married her partner RPG member and variety show host Haha sometime in September 2012 when they submitted their marriage registration. Byul and Haha had an official wedding two months later on November 30.[2][3]
The couple welcomed their first son Ha Dream on July 9, 2013.[4][5] They welcomed their second son Ha Soul on March 22, 2017,[6] and third child, a daughter named Ha Song on July 15, 2019.[7]
