Lee Chaeyoung (이채영; or simply Chaeyoung) is a South Korean rapper and singer under ASND. She is a member of the girl group fromis_9.
Career
2017–2018: Idol School and fromis_9
In July 2017, Chaeyoung became a contestant in Idol School and finished the competition in fourth place, thus becoming a member of fromis_9.[1]
The group officially debuted on January 24, 2018 with their first mini album To. Heart.
2025: New agency
On January 26, 2024, start-up agency ASND announced that Chaeyoung, along with Hayoung, Jiwon, Nagyung, and Jiheon, had signed on with them.[2]
