Produce X 101 (프로듀스 X 101) was a 2019 boy group survival show on Mnet. The fourth season of the Produce 101 series, it is a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a temporary boy group by choosing members from a pool of 101 contestants.
The show premiered on May 3, 2019 and aired every Friday at 23:00 (11:00 p.m.) KST.[1]
Background
In November 2018, Mnet confirmed that Produce 101 was in discussion for a new season but did not confirm broadcast timing and details.[2]
On December 15, 2018, following the end of the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Mnet dropped a teaser confirming the season with the name Produce X 101 and the premiere to 2019.[1]

Aftermath
- The final eleven officially debuted in the group called X1 on August 27, 2019.
- They were expected to promote for five years, with two and a half years exclusively promoting together.[4] However, the group disbanded on January 6, 2020 due to the Produce 101 vote rigging controversy.[5]
- After the group's disbandment, the members returned to their respective agencies.
- Lee Hang Gyul (7th) and Nam Do Hyon (8th) debuted as the duo H&D on March 26, 2020 and in the group BAE173 on November 19, 2020.
- Nam Do Hyon (8th) left BAE173 on June 22, 2023 and debuted as a soloist on September 6, 2024 under the stage name toni rei.
- Lee Hang Gyul (7th) later participated in Starlight Boys and ranked 6th, making him a member of POLARIX.
- Song Hyeong Jun (4th) and Kang Min Hee (10th) debuted in the group CRAVITY on April 14, 2020.
- Kim Woo Seok (2nd) debuted as a soloist on May 25, 2020.
- Cho Seung Youn (5th) made his solo comeback on June 29, 2020.
- Han Seung Woo (3rd) debuted as a soloist on August 10, 2020.
- Kim Yo Han (1st) debuted as a soloist on August 25, 2020 and in the group WEi on October 5, 2020.
- Lee Eun Sang (11th) debuted as a soloist on August 31, 2020 and in the group YOUNITE on April 20, 2022.
- Cha Jun Ho (9th) debuted in the group DRIPPIN on October 28, 2020.
- Son Dong Pyo (6th) debuted in the group MIRAE on March 17, 2021. The group disbanded on July 9, 2024.
- Lee Hang Gyul (7th) and Nam Do Hyon (8th) debuted as the duo H&D on March 26, 2020 and in the group BAE173 on November 19, 2020.
