Overview

The Rafail Gem is one of the Heroes' Relics. It originally belonged to Lamine and effects are boosted for someone with a Crest of Lamine. The Rafail Gem is given to Mercedes by the Death Knight after completing the paralogue "The Face Beneath".

Etymology

Rafail is the Greek and Russian form of Raphael, an Archangel in the Abrahamic religions whose name means "God has healed".

Trivia

• While Jeritza can legitimately gain the bonus effects of Pavise and Aegis from the Rafail Gem without the use of Dragon Signs, the accessory cannot be obtained in the route he is playable in. This is remedied in Three Hopes.
