Noa is a character mentioned in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and the original bearer of the Crest of Noa. She was one of the Four Apostles.
Profile
After the Rite of Rising failed to revive the Goddess, Noa left Garreg Mach in self-exile. After traversing through Fódlan's Fangs, she eventually settled on the ocean's salted shores in what would later become the Nuvelle territory of the Adrestian Empire.
Noa was well known for her magic; upon the founding of House Nuvelle, she created a spell to conceal the true nature of her Crest to protect her and her descendants, fearful that someone may exploit their bloodlines. This spell caused her Crest to appear as Macuil's instead, which already existed within the Empire. Her desire to keep her Crest a secret was shared with her descendants, who refrained from spreading their bloodline among the other noble houses. Doing so prevented the Crest of Noa from proliferating, but had a long-term effect of keeping the other imperial houses largely at arm's length, contributing to House Nuvelle's collapse in the Dagda and Brigid War.
