Dragon

Dragons (ドラゴン, Doragon^?) are large creatures who live in space. They are mechanical beings with gears on their bodies.

Appearance

Dragons have an overall mechanical appearance, having gears on the underside of their bellies, and wings that have a pattern that somewhat resembles solar panels. Their wings also have four appendages, resemble sword hilts, sticking out of near their bodies, each one has four "V"s pointing toward the rest of the Dragon's body. Additionally, they have a tail, two legs with three claws on each foot. In the center of their chest, they have heart-shaped chests with a ball in the center.^[1]

Synopsis

History

When Shiki, Ziggy, and Michael were looking at the stars, Shiki noticed a streak and Ziggy claimed that it was a Dragon, though Michael argued against that fact. It is unknown if that was actually a Dragon or not.^[2]

Intro arc

While Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy are flying away from Granbell in the Aqua Wing, a Dragon passes above them.^[1] Elsewhere in space, a Dragon passes by Mother as she observes Shiki's departure from Granbell and wonders what his journey will bring.^[3]

Red Cave arc

When the Crew of Edens set course for Dragonfall, they discover that the Edens One had managed to break through and killed many Dragons, seeing their remains floating in space. Several surviving Dragons appear and attack the Edens Zero which Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, Homura and Kris Rutherford used the warship's Battle Stations to fend them off with Ether Link ammo made of their respective Ether Gear powers.

Lendard arc

The Dragons under the control of God Acnoella, who allied herself with Ziggy, appear before the three allied forces of Shiki, Elsie Crimson, and Holy as part of Lendard's defense zone.^[4]

Powers and Abilities

Spaceflight: Dragons are able to fly in space, at their own pleasing and at incredible speed.^[5]

Hyperthermic Laserbeam (高熱線レーザー, Kōnessen Rēzā^?): Dragons can fire destructive beams from their mouths which has been visually compared to "breathing fire". These beams are capable of destroying spaceships.^[6]

Enhanced Smell: Dragons have excellent sense of smell to track down their prey and attack them wherever they hide.^[7]
