The Sound Fruit enables the user to control and manipulate sound, launching a barrage of musical notes to attack foes. When enhanced by the Tempo Meter, It allows the player and their allies to gain buffs, strengthening them in the process.
Sound is a very versatile fruit and is a good choice for many activities. It is recognized for dealing AoE damage on every move (excluding the [F] move) and is widely considered as a good choice for both grinding and PvP in medium to late stages such as the second half of the second sea, or the third sea, as well as Sea Beast hunting, as it can provide both a high damage output and valuable support when allied with a group of players. Sound is also a good fruit for raids because of the large AoE and high damage on all moves and supports allied players with the Tempo Meter.
All moves that are used while in the golden mode, turn gold.
The Tempo Meter can be filled by either holding [F] Tempo: Prestissimo or hitting an enemy with this fruit's abilities. The Tempo Meter decreases rapidly when a player is not dealing damage, and runs out after 10 seconds.
When the meter is maxed, the user and nearby allies gain a shield that reduces incoming damage by ~25%, increases speed by ~50%, and increases move damage by 10%.

Trivia
Sound is the first fan-made fruit to be added to the game. The original concept was created by @Aqu4G (on X/Twitter), one of the winners of the first fan fruit/art contest. The second is the Kitsune fruit.
Sound's [C] is very similar to Diamond's [V], as it's an instinct breaking AOE move that deals heavy damage, with rapid fire auto-tracking attacks.
Many of Sound's moves contain musical vocabulary, such as Tempo (Rate of speed of music played), Prestissimo (Very Fast) or Fortissimo (Very Loud).
While using the [F] move, the user can fly faster (or even faster with the Tempo Meter activated) when their health is low, but not as fast as Venom (it also has the same flight mechanic).
Sound now allows for the newest highest potential speed for a player in the game, by combining the following: Maximum Tempo Meter + Rabbit V4 (and Agility) + Pilot Helmet + Kitsune (Transformed). However, this is still not the fastest transportation method, as Portal has the ability to instantly teleport to most islands in any sea.
Sound is the least expensive fruit to have a meter, but also a variable meter.
Sound is also one of three fruits that have meters that are not intended for transformation, with the other two being Shadow and Spirit.
Sound's V was named "A drop of Golden Sun" in the concept, which was changed to "Glorious Harmony".
