Rubber

Article
Combos

Grants the user a rubber body, immune to electric attacks, and stretchy enough to deal a barrage of offensive attacks.
Description in Shop

Rubber is a Rare Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs $ 750,000 or R$ 1,200 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

The Rubber fruit turns the user's body into rubber and grants immunity to Rumble, Electric, and Guns. However, it does not grant immunity to Electric Claw, Pole (1st Form), and Pole (2nd Form), even though they are electric-based forms of attack. Rubber is good for grinding because of its long-ranged [M1] attacks.

Rubber is effective until the player reaches Upper Skylands, as most NPCs there have ranged attacks, and this fruit requires a lot of accuracy. However, it is still, to a degree, a better option for grinding than most "regular" Blox Fruits.

Trivia

  • Rubber is the only fruit having a resistance against three attack types. (Fruits, Guns and Fighting Styles)
  • Previously, Pole (1st Form) could not damage Rubber, which may have been a bug as it was changed in Update 20.
  • Rubber [F] is the highest mobility move in the game.
  • Rubber is one of the Blox Fruits to have gotten a rework in Update 17.3.
  • Rubber used to only cost $ 100,000, however, it now costs $ 750,000 due to its Transformation buff.
  • Rubber was originally named Gum.
    • Rubber used to have a move called "Gum Rocket" which would function as a great mobility tool. This was replaced with "Transformation".
  • Despite being immune to Rumble, Rubber does not provide immunity to the attacks used by the Thunder God, due to him being a boss.
    • Some of Rubber's old moves used to be able to pick up physical fruit when dropped on the ground.
  • Rubber is the fruit with the most immunities in the game, with Magma and Blade following right after. These immunities include guns, Electric, and Rumble.
  • If Rubber's M1 attack is held while in the air and released while the user's mouse is on a menu button, they'll be able to stay in the air for a long time and then fall down.
  • Permanent Rubber costs the same amount of Robux R$ as Dark Blade.
  • If the player holds or tap Cursed Dual Katana's [X] move, then quickly switch to [X] move of the Rubber Fruit when it is released, the transformed variant of the [X] move will be used, regardless of whether the player is in their transformed state. If the player holds or tap Cursed Dual Katana's [X] move, then quickly switch to [C] move of the Rubber Fruit when it is released, the transformed variant of the [C] move will be used, regardless of whether the player is in their transformed state.
  • The [Z] skill has the same name as the Phoenix unawakened [Z] move.
  • If used properly, the [F] move can be faster than Light's [F].
  • Rubber is the first ever fruit to have a M1 outside of a transformed or unawakened state.
  • Rubber M1, Z, X, and C changes color depending on the user's aura color, similar to Spider's V move (Heavenly Punishment).
