Phoenix

Combos

Grants regenerative abilities, powerful fire-based attacks, and the ability to transform into full body Phoenix.
Description in Shop

Phoenix (formerly known as Bird: Phoenix) is a Legendary Beast-type Blox Fruit that costs $ 1,800,000 or R$ 2,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

The Phoenix fruit grants the user the ability to manipulate blue and yellow flames into devastating attacks of fire and heal the user and allies within range. The user can also transform into either a half-human half-phoenix hybrid or into a blue and yellow Phoenix, enhancing their already powerful attacks and give them the ability to stay in the air much longer in PvP, at the cost of their energy. The user can also transform freely, provided that their health and energy are above 33%.

Phoenix is an expensive Blox Fruit, with the physical form fetching a decent value, as it is a powerful fruit that can hover in the air and move swiftly for long periods of time, along with large, burning AoE attacks. This fruit, especially the awakened version, is a top choice in bounty hunting due to being able to run away and regenerate health quickly, protecting their bounty, while also making it generally an annoying opponent to fight against, being able to effectively counter many fruits. Phoenix is not very good for grinding when unawakened, while being excellent for grinding, Sea Events and Raids when awakened, due to its large AoE. The transformation of both versions will drain energy passively, making it the fruit that consumes the most energy, the second being Ice and Yeti.

Awakening

Phoenix costs f 18,500 to fully awaken.

"The Phoenix" title #041 will be granted upon awakening at least one move of this fruit.

Unlocking Phoenix Raid

Phoenix has a unique awakening method that differs from other fruits. Normally, players must purchase a chip from the Mysterious Scientist, but the process for this fruit is different. The player will need to:

  1. Obtain 400+ mastery on Phoenix.
  2. Talk to Sick Scientist, who is located at the Sea of Treats. The Raid Chip can also be purchased through the Mysterious Scientist, even in the Second Sea, after the player has purchased it at least one time from the Sick Scientist.
    • This NPC will sell the player the Phoenix raid chip for f 1,000 or a physical fruit worth at least $ 1,000,000 or more.
    • Purchasing a chip with f Fragments has a 2-hour cooldown.
    • The quest is permanent, so when the player switches to another fruit, the player can still buy the Phoenix Raid Chip.

Note: Players can still join Phoenix raids hosted by other players and awaken Phoenix without having 400+ mastery, so the user can ask other players for help if they haven’t gotten 400+ mastery.

    Overview

    Unawakened

    Pros (Normal)
    General
    • Has stun immunity in certain cases which is good in PvP situations.
    • Good for raids, as it can be a support fruit due to its healing capabilities.
    • Good for bounty hunting. (Players can run away and heal to avoid Bounty/Honor loss)
    [Z] Cannon
    • Good range.
    • Breaks Instinct.
    • Can knockback enemies, making it good for escaping.
    [X] Regeneration Flames
    • As long as the user has enough energy, it is hard to be killed because this move can heal the player even better than Heavenly Blood. (This does not mean they will be completely immortal.)
    [C] Fast Kick
    • Decent mobility.
    • Extremely short cooldown.
    [V] Full Transformation
    • Fast transformation.

    • Moves are hard to hit.
    • Has only 2 actual attack skills.
    • Not very good for early game grinding, because it is a Beast fruit and not an Elemental fruit.

    [Z] Cannon
    • Small hitbox.
    • High knockback, making it bad for grinding.
    [X] Regeneration Flames
    • Drains a lot of energy.
    • Susceptible to counterattack.

    • Low cooldown for a move that goes almost as far as flashstep.

    Trivia

    • Currently, Buddha and Phoenix are the only Beast-type fruits to have an awakening.
    • Because of the Phoenix Flames and Feathers' Immortality passive on the F move, the user can stall above enemies and damage them, making it an ideal way to farm money/mastery.
      • Smoke and Blizzard also technically have infinite damage moves, but they are harder to use.
    • Phoenix is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
    • Currently, Phoenix is one of the few fruits to have ranged M1s.
    • The unawakened [X] move somehow heals faster than the awakened version.
      • Phoenix is the first ever fruit to possess HP benefits. (excluding pre-nerf Buddha)
    • If the player uses awakened [C] or [Z] while using the unawakened transformation, the transformation will be cancelled.
    • Interestingly, the awakened version loses the earpiece on the flight move, and attacks.
    • When holding this fruit, the flying/floating animation is the same as Shadow.
    • If the player starts using the transformed [X] move before being kicked out of transformation via low energy, they will shoot the transformed version instead of the normal [X] move.
    • Awakened Phoenix's [X] move can be used with the V1 [V] move. If used with transformation, it will make the user's speed become a little slower.
    • Holding the unawakened [X] move is a highly recommended way to get the title "Empty Vessel".
    • Phoenix is the third fruit that can transform without a fury meter.
    • Sea Beasts will appear in a Phoenix raid.
    • Paired with Angel V3, the awakened [X] Blue Flames can have the fastest regeneration in the game.
    • Although Phoenix and Portal share the robux price ( R$ 2,000), they do not share the same Money $ value. Phoenix is valued at $ 1,800,000 and Portal is valued at $ 1,900,000.
    • Phoenix is a very difficult fruit to master, but also very formidable in PvP.
    • Transformed [Z] Cannon has two hitboxes, first is a medium range burst of flames and second is a long range projectile.
