Seleste Carbonell is a character available for the Libertad in XDefiant.
Background
As a toddler, Seleste practically learned how to fly a plane before she could walk. Her father smuggled and airdropped medical supplies, weapons and munitions over the jungles of Yara. Her father would strap a young Seleste to the plane while performing these missions and gave the stick over to her while deploying the resources. Seleste built her own plane at the age of 16, calling it the "Fenix". Seleste would fly the Fenix alongside her dad's plane while she airdropped medical supplies, and he airdropped weapons.
One day, the pair were performing a dangerous resupply raid when ground fire heavily damaged Seleste's father's plane fuselage, igniting the stored munitions and blowing up his plane. The debris from the explosion heavily damaged the Fenix's wings causing Seleste to crash into the jungle below. Libertad guerillas discovered Seleste and nursed her broken bones, unable to repair the aircraft. She retired as a pilot and joined Libertad against Antón Castillo's regime, until the Fenix is able to fly again.
