Background
Rafa works as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT) analyst, having a skill for disappearing undercover. Rafa is known for being a SIGINT prodigy, able to memorise and decode encrypted intelligence faster than most computer decryption systems. This can be attributed to his inhuman pattern recognition and problem solving abilities, which drew the attention of Echelon.
In Echelon, Rafa's former life and identity vanished, functioning as a black ops myth. His colleagues and handlers know little about him. Rafa prefers to work alone, dismissing colleagues as distractions.
