K111 Jihwi-Cha

The K111 Jihwi-Cha (Korean: 지휘차/指揮車, meaning "Command Vehicle") is a South Korean Command Jeep that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History

K111 were developed from the American Willys M38, These first started production in 1978 and starting being replaced by K131 in 1997 in most roles with this one serving in the command role.

Overview

The K11 Jihwi-Cha is the South Koreans most basic CV, a 100-point jeep. Like other 100-point jeeps, the K11 Jihwi-Cha is the cheapest, and one of the most highly-available CVs available. This can give the player longevity in matches, particularly in game types like conquest where CV availability has greater importance. It is wheeled, with a fair offroad speed, making it good for taking capture points close to spawn. However, despite these benefits, the K11 Jihwi-Cha is a very weak 0-armor vehicle with no defenses, making it very vulnerable to just about anything, from artillery to bombs to infantry.

Compared to the other 100-point CV available to the South Korean, the UH-1A, the K11 Jihwi-Cha command has the benefit of being able to hide in forests and other heavy cover, leaving it less vulnerable to spotters. On the other hand, over long distances the K11 Jihwi-Cha will not be able to reach a given capture point as fast.
