The Haebyung (Korean: 해병/海兵, meaning "Marines") is a South Korean shock infantry unit that initially appeared in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History
The Republic of Korea Marine Corps was created on April 15, 1949. During the South Korea involvement with Vietnam War, 2nd Marine Brigade was deployed. Currently ROKMC serves as rapid reaction force and a strategic reserve. In the time period ROKMC has two divisions each with three regiments of three marine battalions along with two brigades of three Marine battalions similar to their American counterparts.
