Poison Stars (毒星 Doku Hoshi) are a kind of narcotic ingredients sold in the Jidal Kingdom. One mouth full will wrap the eater in a strong feeling of intoxication that they'll never come out from. However, like the name suggests, eating one will also deliver a fatal dose of poison to the eater's body.
In the past there was a city with a population of 1 million where a supply of poison star spread and this eventually caused the downfall of the country itself.

While Komatsu was in the Jidar Kingdom with Toriko and Coco, he was offered some Poison Stars by an old woman named Ekubo-chan, luckily Toriko warned him of their dangers before he could buy any.
