Poison Boars are winged, mammalian pig beasts who have large quantities of poison within their bodies.

Anatomy

The Poison Boar is a large breed of boar that can grow to be around 7 meters in length and 3.5 meters in height, and when fully grown it can weigh up to 15 tons. It has a brown and leathery hide with numerous dark brown spots on its back and a pair of bat-like wings.

Powers and Abilities

Because of its poisonous body, it is safe from most predators who are cautious enough to avoid its deadly body. It is unknown if its bite is poisonous or what purpose its wings serve.

As Food

The Poison Boar's meat is edible, however, a vast amount of power and intelligence is required to eat them without turning the entire body poisonous. Its untainted meat can fetch a price of 12,000 yen for 100 grams at gourmet markets.

History

Before Gourmet Age

During his youth, Acacia discovered the species known as Nitro while one was devouring a Poison Boar (surprisingly, the Nitro was able to eat the boar without it turning poisonous) and thanks to this encounter he was able to deduce the Nitro's strength and intelligence.

Acacia taught Jiro the method to defeat the boar without being poisoned.^[1]
